sold the bed. now i sleep really low on my air mattress. i miss the ceiling.
i realized just how old i really am tonight. went to raleighs for rachel and daniels goodbye sendoff thing. it was almost all alums, talking about football, work, and the good old days. eating, some beer, super mellow, super enjoyable, for the most part.
then, milvia house party. first off, milvia parties are no longer the crazy parties with the crazy people with the beer bongs, keg stands, smoking out, and all that. they're pretty much like any other party...stupid girls and people trying to get ass. i am not a stupid girl, nor am i trying to get some ass. therefore, not really for me. sat around trying to talk to mike, remo, and airbears. we all felt slightly out of place, watching ppl try to get ass and be stupid.
i think i prefer the former to the latter, when it comes to social situations. i had a very short party lifespan, i think. i liked parties for maybe a year and half. then it got old. granted, drinking isn't my favorite thing to do (i blame the redness and the headaches that occur right away), and i've been in a relationship for 4 years now, so college was not a drunken ass-hunt for me. also, partying just isn't as cool when you're 21 for some reason. or maybe i just matured really fast. i know there are plenty of ppl who agree with me. i find myself much more interested in holding somewhat intelligent conversation, or at least small talk. like at mary's party, i spent most of the time outside where i could actually hear myself and the person next to me.
this was probably one of my last stupid drunken parties. time to grow up and move on, i guess, instead of trying to cling to the college partying minutes of my life.
