4th of july! came and went.

call for sausalito was at 7am. ohmyeffinggawd. so early. relatively uneventful journey there except for losing a hubcap and fellow bandsmen freaking out about the windy small roads. :P i swear, the band van is going to fall apart as we drive it. as for the small roads, its just like pennsylvania!

met cymbals jane and did sausalito parade. a lot of fun, but i wish there were more current percussionists. old military gets really old. lots of beer available, but i wasn't in the mood at 10am. we had a keg that came along with the band. noli partook.

smittys = more beer for the band. then last set and free lunch. and more beer. this is a very wet holiday, i think. noli fully enjoyed himself, hehe.

sausalito is a nice place to relax...and so many dogs! even weiner dogs dressed up like hot dogs. also this little dog in a mexican shirt sitting on TOP of his owners sombrero. he looked happy.

post sausalito, noli and i went to sf and ate. stupid moma has no free tuesday this month. poop. finally saw the metreon from the inside and the yerba buena gardens.

headed back to berkeley and went to the marina to watch the fireworks. really good time just hanging out with nols. its been awhile since we could just hang out with having to do something. got a great bench right by the water, but could leave til 11 b/c of traffic. which sucked cuz i had to pee so freakin' badly. gah. i hate it when that happens.
