so i got to see most of my family today and we went to look at the new house. well, the model homes. i LOVE the floor plan, and the fact that we can customize features (ie fireplaces, flooring, countertops, showers). my parents really look to me to help with this one. they also want me to work with my mom and the designer to pick a color palette and to do the backyard. its nice being treated as a grown up. even if i'm not.

so its a 1 acre lot in a gated community, sorta in the middle of nowhere, but near somewhere. so its good for my family. i love that it will have land, and that its 1 story. my dog can't handle stairs anyway, and it makes moving in easier. won't be done til september though, so there'll be some temp housing in there somewhere.

oh. and i don't really have a room either. there's a spare room, for when my sister or i visit home, but yeah. i have been firmly told not to call it home. isn't that nice? little do they know, that spare room will be mine, and i will be home frequently enough to call it so. and to use the car. and eat good food. and use the jacuzzi-pool, whenever we get one. so ha.

and time to sleep soon cuz we're going to san jose and then i take bart from fremont to SL to hang with a certain someone. sweet! last day of freedom before school starts up again.
