okay, so its been awhile since i last blogged...technically, the last time was last year. anyway, here's all the shit that went down:
working. lots of working. earned $200 in a week. that's a lot, when you only make $8 an hour. wish i were still working.
holiday bowl. ho hum. fun week...except for the rain and the losing. best part was the money. and the hat i'll never wear. and the weinerdog shirt. cuz who doesn't like weinerdogs?
home. lots of sleeping in. visited urvine to see my sister's digs, ate sam woo's (::drool::) in addition to yummy home food. i love home for the food. and my dog. and the family. so great to just put my life on hold for a little. stave off my anger and bitterness. cuz i have it in spades. SPADES.
noli's short and hectic visit. the end of my relaxing, the beginning of my running all over socal. needless to say, a whole lot of funness. hung out at the mall and the town center, saw the incredibles, went to UCLA to chill with Kenny and realize there's nothing much to do around there (think lots of bored wandering around and getting lost in some science building), went to magic mountain for a day (and i didn't throw up, sweet!), came back up here. chilled at my uncle's house and ate yummy pho. so good...one thing i miss here is all the good home food eatin'.
and now i'm learning. or something. 19 (formerly 21 but then i grew a brain and dropped a night drawing class) units is hella units. this way i can drop a class when the going gets rough, though. which it inevitably will, with 19 units. i have so much reading to do. and i have to go spend around another $200 on readers, in addition to the $250 i spent on books. ew. thanks for the Stat book, nols.
and now you're updated. whoopee. i'm sure you're thrilled. :P
and yet more time to kill before my next class. next time, i need to take a nap instead. or schedule my classes back to back. i'm sure i'll appreciate this break time more when i'm hurrying to complete a homework assignment i didn't do or something later in the semester.
